Reasons for Creating an Account

There are several reasons why creating an account might appeal to you, though you can access all the features on the site without one.

1) If you post anonymously, other users (both anonymous and registered) can edit your postings. This means they can add text to the photo posting and add additional categories that they think the photo should be listed in. This can actually be beneficial because some users might think to add extra keywords in the description or to add it to a category you didn't think to add it to. However, if this idea does not appeal to you and you want your images to appear as you post them, you will want to create an account so that anonymous users cannot change your photo descriptions and categories.

2) If you have a user account and you want to direct friends to your entire photo library on Anonymous Photo, you can give them a direct link to the user account URL that is yours. This would look something like: http://anonymousphoto.com/user/2 where "2" is the user number assigned to you when you sign up.

3) Other users can see when you are online in the "online users" block.

4) Your username is listed in comments when you post them.

5) You just want to have an account because you like the idea of it!
